Tyne Triathlon Club Social Events.

The Club always organises a Christmas Dinner for its members & guests. Most recently this has been a meal in town followed by clubbing for those who can get in.

Other social events have included.

Pool Party.
Jesmond Pool was hired for a party complete with buffet meal and light-hearted races.

Manchester Velodrome.
Club members hired the velodrome for a morning, complete with coaching on technique, and timed laps.

Winter Training Trips. In recent winters the club has offered at least one training trip either for a weekend if in this country or longer if abroad. Previous destinations have included Keswick, Whitby, Majorca, Lanzarote, Spain & Malta. These offer a great opportunity for both socialising and training.

Eating & Drinking. Post race celebrations are sometimes held in members houses to let competitors explain exactly why they didn't get the result they should have. The clubs female members regularly meet for a curry at a local restaurant after training.
